Up +$2.55/8.4% 32% Since the Start

Well today was a damn good day for trading! I started observing the market at about 1:00 PM and then 18 minutes later I entered my first trade (I couldn't wait till 1:30). I decided to by the DOW.18AUG.-75 because I was certain after looking at my analysis that the DOW would not close below -75, I purchased the contracts for 93.5 giving me a profit potential of $.65. Then about 8 minutes later this contract was now trading at 87.5 and I couldn't pass that up so I bought 1 more DOW.18AUG.-75 contract for 87.5, making the average price paid for the contract 90.5. About an hour later to my amazement DOW.18AUG.-300 contracts were trading relatively high and I felt that there was NO WAY the DOW would close down -300 points so I sold the DOW.18AUG.-300 @ 11, giving a profit potential of $1.10. The rest of the day was pretty much smooth sailing the DOW closed near the lows and never really threatened any of my positions. So after commissions I finished the day up $2.55, 8.4%, which is over my target of $1.53. So in total I am up 32% since the start.
